1.INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL SEVEN POSITIONS ON THE
NEWLY-FORMED BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE - STAGGERED THREE-
YEAR TERMS - File 9-2-55
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Noble A. ("Rocky") Birdsey Martin Peckins
Paul Curfman Richard Schneider
Ralph Mihan Jonathan J. Toste
Kristin Nute
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Heller seconded,
to appoint Noble A. ("Rocky") Birdsey, Paul Curfman, Ralph Mihan, Kristin
Nute, Martin Peckins, Richard Schneider, and Jonathan J. Toste to the newly
formed Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen
The Council also approved expansion of the Committee from seven to nine members
to include two student members, and calling for applications for two high
school students who are residents of the City of San Rafael. The
applicants will be interviewed and the two student members chosen by the
members of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
Lydia Romero, Assistant to the City Manager, and Richard Landis, Public Works
Administrative Supervisor, will be the City's liaison to the Advisory
Committee.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:05 PM.
