Bob Roberts, Marin Center for Independent Living, thanked the Redevelopment
Agency and the City Council for their contributions to affordable housing for
the Marin Center for Independent Living. He stated they had moved into their
new building, where they have five wonderful apartments, in part, as a result of
the contributions of the Redevelopment Agency and the City of San Rafael. On
behalf of the Marin Center for Independent Living, Mr. Roberts expressed the
Center's appreciation, and presented the Agency members with a plaque.

Member Heller moved and Member Cohen seconded, to approve the following Consent
Calendar items:

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS:
5. PRESENTATION OF RESOLUTIONS OF APPRECIATION TO ANISE TURINA AND GEORGE URI

Chairman Boro reported Ms. Turina and Mr. Uri have been members of the
Citizens Advisory Committee for Redevelopment since the Committee's
inception in 1974, which he noted was a tremendous amount of volunteer
service to the community. On behalf of the Agency, Chairman Boro presented
Resolutions of Appreciation to Ms. Turina and Mr. Uri, thanking them for
their hard work. He noted much of the success being seen in the City was
due, in part, to their efforts over the years.
Mr. Uri thanked Chairman Boro, noting there had been a lot of progress made
during the past twenty-five years.
Ms. Turina thanked the agency, stating she was very proud to have been
involved with the redevelopment of the City for the past twenty-five years,
noting so much had been done. She stated she was pleased there was so
little vacancy in the City, and was also very proud of the affordable
housing.

None.
There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Agency, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:58 PM.
