Ragghianti, Agency Attorney Jeanne M. Leoncini, Agency Secretary ORAL COMMUNICATIONS OF AN URGENCY NATURE: 7:30 PM None. CONSENT CALENDAR: Member Cohen moved and Member Phillips seconded, to approve the following Consent Calendar items: ITEM RECOMMENDED ACTION 1. Approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting of Minutes approved as Tuesday, July 6, 1999 (AS) submitted. 2. Unapproved Minutes of Citizens Advisory Committee Accepted report. Meeting of Tuesday, June 29, 1999 (RA) - File R-140 IVB AYES: MEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Chairman Boro NOES: MEMBERS: None ABSENT: MEMBERS: None The following item was removed from the Consent Calendar for further discussion: 3. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR TO EXTEND THE EXISTING CONTRACT WITH RICHARD BORNHOLDT CONSULTING GROUP THROUGH JUNE 30, 2000 FOR A FEE NOT TO EXCEED $40,000 (RA) - File R-173 x (SRCC) 187 Economic Development Director Nancy Mackle stated she had a minor change to the wording of the Resolution, stating the last paragraph should read, "RESOLVED, that the Agency authorizes the Director of Economic Development to execute an amendment to the existing Agreement for consulting services for Richard Bornholdt Consulting Group, dated June 5, 1989, extending the term of the Agreement through June 30, 2000, and increasing the compensation rate to $80.00 per hour, for a total annual compensation fee not to exceed $40,000". She noted the form of the amendment was to be approved by the Agency Attorney. Member Cohen moved and Member Miller seconded, to adopt the Resolution, as amended. INTRODUCTION OF NEW EMPLOYEE: STEPHANIE SMITH LOVETTE, SENIOR REDEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (RA) - File R-140 #8 x R-58 Economic Development Director Nancy Mackle introduced Stephanie Smith Lovette, Senior Redevelopment Specialist. She reported Ms. Lovette brought extensive experience to the Agency, with over twelve years in the Redevelopment field. She stated Ms. Lovette had most recently been a senior associate with a redevelopment consulting firm, and had also worked in public investment financing, noting she had a lot of experience with financing issues, and looking at development agreements from the consulting side, and would be bringing a different perspective. Ms. Mackle stated Ms. Lovette would be taking the lead on economic development and affordable housing issues. Chairman Boro and the Agency Members welcomed Ms. Lovette. 5. AGENCY MEMBER REPORTS: None. There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM. JEANNE M.
