1.INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL TWO FOUR-YEAR TERMS AND TWO
UNEXPIRED TERMS ON THE SAN RAFAEL BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES, DUE TO
EXPIRATION OF TERMS OF ROBERT E. KATZ AND ELIZABETH GRASHAM, AND THE
RESIGNATION OF KAREN CHRISTOPHER AND JOHN HAEUSER (Three Terms to Expire
End of April, 2003, and One Unexpired Term to Expire End of April, 2001)

Council interviewed the following applicants:
Robert Barnett Elizabeth H. Grasham
Ellen R. Caulfield Sheree White
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Heller seconded,
to reappoint Beth Grasham to a four-year term on the Board of Library
Trustees, term to expire end of April, 2003.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Phillips
Council then unanimously appointed the other three applicants, and drew lots for
the remaining positions, appointing Robert Barnett and Sheree White to
four-year terms to the end of April, 2003, and appointed Ellen R. Caulfield
to fill one unexpired term to the end of April, 2001.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
