1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL FIVE, FOUR-YEAR TERMS ON
THE CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REDEVELOPMENT DUE TO EXPIRATION OF TERMS
OF KATE COLIN, JOHN ORTEGA, ROB SIMON, KEVIN WARNER, AND ABRAHAM YANG -
TERMS TO EXPIRE END OF JUNE, 2003 (RA) - File R-140 IVB
The Agency interviewed the following applicants:
Rob Simon Eric Miller
Dirck Brinckerhoff John Ortega
Kate Colin Kevin Warner
Bruce Friedman Janet Green
Geoffrey H. Wood Abraham Yang
Mark Blackburn also applied, but was unable to attend the interviews.
After discussion, Member Miller moved and Member Heller seconded, to
reappoint Rob Simon, Kate Colin, John Ortega and Abraham Yang, and appoint
Bruce Friedman to serve four-year terms on the Citizens Advisory Committee
on Redevelopment, with terms to expire end of June, 2003.

NOES: MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: MEMBERS: Phillips & Cohen (Member Cohen arrived at 6:30 PM)
ABSTAINING: MEMBERS: Cohen (due to absence from most of the
interviews)
There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Agency, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
