Special Meeting: Present: Albert J. Boro, Mayor
San Rafael City Council Cyr N. Miller, Vice-Mayor
Paul M. Cohen, Councilmember
Barbara Heller, Councilmember
Gary O. Phillips, Councilmember
Absent: None
Also Present: Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL TWO, FOUR-YEAR
TERMS ON THE SAN RAFAEL DESIGN REVIEW BOARD, WITH TERMS TO
EXPIRE END OF JUNE, 2005 (CC) – FILE 9-2-39
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Joseph Grasso
Jeff Kent
Peter Frobenius
(Ann Crew was unable to be present at the interview)
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Cohen seconded, to reappoint
Jeff Kent and Ann Crew to fill two, four-year terms on the San Rafael Design Review Board, with terms
to expire end of June, 2005.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS None

Council interviewed the following applicants:
Peter Frobenius
Phil Boland
Michael W. Whipple
Craig Thomas Yates
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Cohen seconded, to reappoint
Michael W. Whipple to fill one, four-year term on the San Rafael Planning Commission, with term to
expire end of June, 2005.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
