ELECTION MATTERS:
1. RESOLUTION DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF CONSOLIDATED
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 2001 (CC) –
FILE 9-4 x 9-1 x 9-4.1 x 9-2-1
Mayor Boro announced it was a pleasure tonight to have the swearing-in of two re-elected San Rafael City
Councilmembers, Barbara Heller and Cyr Miller, and two newly elected San Rafael Board of Education
members, Jon Loberg and Natu Tuatagaloa, for four-year terms.
City Clerk Jeanne Leoncini stated it was recommended that the City Council adopt the Resolution
declaring Canvass of Returns and Results of the Consolidated Special Municipal Election, held on
November 6, 2001.
Councilmember Cohen moved and Councilmember Phillips seconded, to adopt the Resolution.
ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 10961 – RESOLUTION DECLARING CANVASS
OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF CONSOLIDATED
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON
NOVEMBER 6, 2001

2. SWEARING-IN CEREMONIES – FILE 9-4 x 9-1 x 9-4.1 x 9-2-1
City Clerk Jeanne Leoncini administered the oath of office to re-elected Councilmembers Barbara Heller
and Cyr Miller and newly elected San Rafael Board of Education members, Jon Loberg and
Natu Tuatagaloa.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m. to a reception in the lobby at
City Hall.
