AGENCY MEMBER REPORTS:
3. a) Italian Street Painting Festival: - File R-181 x R-140#8
Economic Development Director Nancy Mackle reported that the Italian Street Painting Festival which
took place this past weekend was a huge success. With an attendance of 75,000, this was one of the
largest crowds ever, raising a lot of money for a good cause. Member Heller commented on how well
the parking lots were noticed. Ms. Mackle noted that the Parking Services Manager, Chad Lynn, was a
great addition to the event team.
b) Downtown Events: - File R-181 x R-140#8
Ms. Mackle issued a reminder of the ongoing Thursday evening Farmers’ Market Festival and the
Wednesday noontime music series in the San Rafael City Plaza. She announced that the first “Friday
Night Music in the Plaza” event would take place in early July.
There being no further business, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
