Paul M. Cohen, Councilmember
Barbara Heller, Councilmember
Cyr N. Miller, Councilmember
Absent: None
Also Present: Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENT TO FILL ONE, FOUR-YEAR
TERM ON THE SAN RAFAEL FIRE COMMISSION, WITH TERM TO EXPIRE END OF
MARCH 2007 (CC) – FILE – 9-2-5
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Kathleen L. Devlin
Jim Weatherhead
Crystal Wright
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Cohen seconded, to reappoint
Kathleen L. Devlin to fill one, four-year term on the San Rafael Fire Commission, with term
to expire end of March 2007.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
2. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL FIVE, THREE-YEAR
TERMS ON THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE, WITH TERMS
TO EXPIRE END OF NOVEMBER, 2005 (CC) – FILE 9-2-55
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Noble (“Rocky”) Birdsey Preston McCoy
Tim Gilbert Russ Young
Applications of Patchen Homitz and Richard Schneider, who were unable to attend, were also
considered.
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Heller seconded, to reappoint
Noble (“Rocky”) Birdsey, Preston McCoy and Richard Schneider, and appoint two new members, Tim
Gilbert and Russ Young, to fill five, three-year terms on the San Rafael Bicycle and Pedestrian
Advisory Committee, with terms to expire end of November, 2005.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
