Paul M. Cohen, Councilmember
Barbara Heller, Councilmember
Cyr N. Miller, Councilmember
Absent: None
Also Present: Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
Gail Lockman, Library Manager
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL THREE, FOUR-YEAR
TERMS ON THE SAN RAFAEL BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES, WITH TERMS TO
EXPIRE END OF APRIL, 2007 (CC) – FILE – 9-2-3
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Robert Barnett Sean Prendiville
John Patrick Gookin Charles H. Stuckey
Elizabeth H. Grasham Patricia Zentner
Lynn Mason
James Weber withdrew his application on Monday, April 21, 2003, prior to the meeting.
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Cohen seconded, to reappoint
Robert Barnett, Elizabeth Grasham and Charles Stuckey to fill three, four-year terms on the San Rafael
Board of Library Trustees, with terms to expire end of April, 2007, and appointed Sean Prendiville as an
alternate.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
Staff to bring back report for City Council review on the possibility of increasing the number of Board
of Library Trustees.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 PM.
