San Rafael Redevelopment Agency/ Gary O. Phillips, Vice-Mayor/Vice Chairman
San Rafael City Council Paul M. Cohen, Councilmember/Member
Barbara Heller, Councilmember/Member
Cyr N. Miller, Councilmember/Member
Absent: None
Also Present: Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk/Agency Secretary
1. SAN RAFAEL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY:
INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL FIVE FOUR-YEAR
TERMS ON THE SAN RAFAEL CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON
REDEVELOPMENT, WITH TERMS TO EXPIRE END OF JUNE, 2007 (AS) – FILE R-140 IVB
Agency Board interviewed the following applicants:
Dirck Brinckerhoff Rob Simon
Rhonda Brown Joanne Webster
Kate Colin Abraham Yang
John Ortega
Roger Smith was unavailable for interview; however, wished to be considered for appointment.
After discussion, Member Miller moved and Member Cohen seconded, to reappoint
Dirck Brinckerhoff, Kate Colin, Rob Simon and Abraham Yang, and appoint Joanne Webster to
fill five four-year terms on the San Rafael Citizens Advisory Committee on Redevelopment, with
terms to expire end of June, 2007.
AYES: MEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Chairman Boro
NOES: MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: MEMBERS: None
2. SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL:
INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENT TO FILL ONE EXTENDED
TERM ON THE SAN RAFAEL PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION, WITH
TERM TO EXPIRE END OF OCTOBER, 2007 (CC) – FILE 9-2-4
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Robert Mattison Cecil Nielsen Chandra Murphy
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Heller seconded, to
appoint Chandra Murphy to fill one extended term on the San Rafael Park and Recreation
Commission, with term to expire end of October, 2007, due to resignation of C. Paul Bettini,
effective July 1, 2003.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, the meting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
