Special Meeting: Present: Albert J. Boro, Mayor
San Rafael City Council Gary O. Phillips, Vice-Mayor
Barbara Heller, Councilmember
Cyr N. Miller, Councilmember
Absent: Paul M. Cohen, Councilmember
Also Present: Rebecca Simon, Associate Traffic Engineer, Public Works
Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL THREE, THREE-YEAR
TERMS ON THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE, WITH TERMS TO
EXPIRE END OF NOVEMBER, 2009 (CC) - FILE 9-2-55
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Sean Braniff Don Magdanz Jane Middleton
Sara Sonnet Kraemer Winslow
Ron Bolds was unable to attend for interview.
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Heller seconded,
to reappoint Don Magdanz, and appoint Sean Braniff and Sara Sonnet to fill three,
three-year terms on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, with terms to expire
end of November, 2009.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Heller seconded, to
appoint Jane Middleton and Kraemer Winslow as alternates.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.
