4. West End Villaqe Celebration: - File R-181 x R-140#8 x (SRCC) 4-1-600 x (SRCC) 9-3-40
Economic Development Director Nancy Mackle reported that the West End Village celebration, which took place on
November 16, 2008, was a huge success and a true celebration of the completion of the construction. It all came
together due to the involvement of the West End merchants and neighborhood association. She thanked Adam
Violante, Pint Sized Lounge, Evet DeCota, Bill Higgins, Whipper Snapper, Bobby's Cafe, Joel Eis, Rebound Books
and Sharlene Moss, West End Neighborhood Association. Thanking Ms. Mackle, Chairman Boro commented that it
was a great party.
Annual Parade of Lights: - File R-181
Ms. Mackie announced that the Annual Parade of Lights takes place on November 28, 2008, including the Snow on
A Street and Holiday Market, together with the gathering for the parade. On behalf of the entire community she
thanked Member Miller for assisting Kris Kringle for many years; however, this year that role would be undertaken by
another.
There being no further business, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency meeting was adjourned at 8:06 PM.
