INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO FILL TWO,
FOUR-YEAR TERMS ON THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES, WITH TERMS TO EXPIRE END OF
APRIL, 2013 (CC) — FILE 9-2-3
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Glena Coleman, Patricia Zentner and Thomas Allen.
After discussion, Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Connolly seconded, and there was
Council consensus to reappoint Glena Coleman and Patricia Zentner to fill two four-year terms and
appoint Thomas Allen as Alternate on the Board of Library Trustees, with terms to expire end of April,
2013

FOUR-YEAR TERMS ON THE SAN RAFAEL FIRE COMMISSION, WITH TERMS TO EXPIRE
END OF MARCH, 2013 (CC) — FILE 9-2-5
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Ali Iqbal, James Quinby and Peter Martin.
As applicant Carolyn Lenert was unable to attend for interview, Council agreed to interview
Ms. Lenert at a Special City Council Meeting on Monday, May 4, 2009 before making appointments to
the Fire Commission.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
