City Manager's Report City Manager Nancy Mackie announced schedule of GREAT Sub -Committee meetings: • Tuesday, October 21 - 6:OOPM at the San Rafael Community Center on B Street; • Wednesday, October 22nd at 12:00 Noon at Terra Linda Community Center; • Saturday, October 25th at 10:00 AM at the Albert J. Boro Community Center. Mayor Phillips COUNCILMEMBER REPORTS / REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: (including AB 1234 Reports on Meetings and Conferences Attended at City Expense) 7. Councilmember Reports Councilmember Colin reported that she and Councilmember Bushey attended various events, including: • Litquake, • Homeward Bound's 40th anniversary party; • She attended the Marin Transit meeting this morning (50th Anniversary.); • She noted The GREAT workshops as announced by the City Manager; • Will be attending the quarterly Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP) meeting on Thursday, noting it will be the last meeting for Councilmember Connolly, who has been chairing the Sustainability Sub -Committee 11 Councilmember Bushey reported that she and Councilmember Colin also attended the annual inspection of the San Rafael Police Department on Saturday, October 18th. Councilmember Connolly reported that he attended the New Teacher Welcome event for San Rafael & Dixie schools held at Toyota of Marin Mayor Phillips reported: • Met with a Sutter representative today and discussed funding for Downtown Streets Team; • Met with the Grand Jury with regard to homeless; • Facilities Committee met and anticipates appointing a working group SAN RAFAEL SUCCESSOR AGENCY 8.
