Special Meeting:
Interviews of Applicants and Consideration of Appointments to Fill Five Four -Year Terms
to the end of June, 2019 and One Unexpired Term to the end of June, 2017, on the Citizens
Advisory Committee on Affordable Housing and Economic Development — File 9-2-65
CAC Interviews
The City Council interviewed the following applicants: Abraham (Abe) Yang, Dirck Brinckerhoff, William
Carney, Gladys Gilliland, Bob Jackson, Kati Miller, William O'Connell, Roger A. Smith.
After discussion, there was Council consensus to reappoint Dirck Brinckerhoff, William Carney and Bob
Jackson and to appoint Kati Miller and William O'Connell to fill five four-year terms to the end of June,
2019. Roger A. Smith was appointed to fill one unexpired term to the end of June, 2017, Gladys Gilliland
was appointed to fill one alternate four-year term to the end of June, 2019 and Abraham (Abe) Yang was
appointed Emeritus member on the San Rafael Citizens Advisory Committee on Economic Development
and Affordable Housing.

ABSENT: Councilmembers: Colin
