GLENA COLEMAN
WHEREAS, Glena Coleman after twenty years as a member of the Board of Trustees for the
City of San Rafael Public Library, has retired from that position as of March
2013; and
WHEREAS, Glena Coleman began her service on the Library Board of Trustees in June 1993;
and
WHEREAS, Glena Coleman has been a staunch and vocal supporter of public library services
in San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Glena Coleman has not only been a member of the Library Board of Trustees, but
also a member of the Measure C Committee; and
WHEREAS, Glena Coleman has strongly advocated during her tenure on the Library Board of
Trustees for improved services and a new Library for San Rafael, especially
through her tireless work on the Measure C Special Library Parcel Tax campaign.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby commend Glena Coleman on her many contributions to the community during her
tenure with the City and wishes her well in all of her future endeavors.
