PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF fIPPRECUITTION
TO
DIANE WACHTER
Employee of the Fourth Quarter 2011
WHEREAS, Diane began her career with the City of San Rafael Public Works Department in September
of 1996; and
WHEREAS, Diane is a consistent and valued beacon of professionalism, competency, calmness and
maturity in a setting that is always busy and frequently hectic; and
WHEREAS, Diane possesses the skill and sound judgment to juggle and complete multiple, complex
tasks, often with competing deadlines; and
WHEREAS, Diane fundamentally understands that San Rafael's residents and other City departments are
DPW's valued customers and provides them all with uniformly excellent service; and
WHEREAS, Diane "works well with others" because she sincerely cares about people and takes the time
to listen; and
WHEREAS, Diane's amazing cakes are legendary, an indispensable part of the City's organizational and
gastronomic culture, despite persistent rumors of store-bought mixes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby designate Diane Wachter as the "Employee of the Quarter" for the Fourth Quarter of 2011, and
express sincere appreciation for hqr dedication, professionalism and outstanding service to the City of San
Rafael. !j
