PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF 11PPRECIRT1ON

WHEREAS, Patricia Zentner after seven years as a member of the Board of Trustees
for the City of San Rafael Public Library, has retired from that position as
of October 2012; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Zentner began her service on the Library Board of Trustees in April
2005; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Zentner has been a staunch supporter of public library services in San
Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Zentner has not only been a member of the Library Board of Trustees,
but also a member of the board of directors of the Friends of the San
Rafael Public Library; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Zentner has strongly advocated during her tenure on the Library
Board of Trustees for improved services and a new Library for San Rafael,
especially through her work on the Measure C Special Library Parcel Tax
campaign;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby commend Patricia Zentner on her many contributions to the
community during her tenure with the City and wishes her well in all of her future
endeavors.
