RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AND MARINWOOD
COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT FOR FIRE
PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES
(FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011)
WHEREAS, the current Agreement between the City of San Rafael and the Marinwood
Community Services District for fire protection services will terminate on June 30, 2010 and
both City and District desire to enter into an operational and structural agreement for the
provision of fire protection and emergency services during fiscal year 2010-2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael to
approve and authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute the Agreement between the City
of San Rafael and Marinwood Community Services District for Fire Protection and Emergency
Response Services (Fiscal Year 2010-2011), a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by this reference.
I, ESTHER C. BEIRNE, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City on the 2151 day of June, 2010, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Brockbank, Connolly, Heller, Levine & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
