RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL APPROVING A CONTRACT (CLTK-9038) FOR FISCAL YEAR
2009-2010 WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
FOR EXTENDED DAY CHILD CARE SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $123,410
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been awarded a contract (CLTK-9038) with the
California Department of Education for Extended Day Child Care Services for fiscal year 2009-
2010 in the amount of $123,410.00; and
WHEREAS, the City's Child Care Division has been funded in previous fiscal years
under similar contracts with the California Department of Education to provide such Extended
Day Child Care Services, and desires to be funded and provide such services again in fiscal year
2009-2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract (CLTK-9038) in the
amount of $123,410.00 for fiscal year 2009-2010 with the California Department of Education
for Extended Day Child Care Services, in the form attached hereto.
I, ESTHER C. BEIRNE, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on Monday, the 6`h of July, 2009 by the following vote, to wit:
