CYNTHIA FOX
WHEREAS, Cynthia Fox has been with the City of San Rafael Child Care Division
for over twenty-six years; and
WHEREAS, "Miss Cindy" has been a preschool teacher at Short Preschool and Center
Director at Don Timoteo Preschool and Vallecito Preschool. Since 1996,
Miss Cindy has been the Director of Pickleweed Preschool and
Children's Center; and
WHEREAS, Miss Cindy has a secret calling as a rap artist, with her group Miss Cindv
and the Pickles, and she is known as "the fashion plate" of Pickleweed
Children's Center; and
WHEREAS, Miss Cindy has been a leader in Early Childhood Development in Marin
County and she has mentored and been a role model for all Child Care
staff with her inspiring professionalism and sense of humor; and
WHEREAS, Miss Cindy has touched the lives of hundreds of families throughout San
Rafael and is truly an admirable, respectful, and caring friend to all.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby designate Cynthia Fox as the "Employee of the Quarter" for the Fourth Quarter of
2007 and express sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism and outstanding service
on behalf of the City of San Rafael.
