RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN
AGREEMENT WITH MARIN IT, INC., FOR WIDE AREA NETWORK
ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT
Term: 12 months commencing June 1, 2008, with option to extend Agreement
for an additional 12 -month period
WHEREAS, the City requires ongoing assistance and support in the maintenance of the
organization's wide area computer network; and
WHEREAS, Marin IT provides network support to various municipalities throughout
Marin County and can provide expertise in the maintenance and support of the City's network;
and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement with Marin IT to cover an initial
term of 12 months, with an option to extend for an additional 12 month period, for network
support services.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Marin IT for network support
services for an initial term of 12 months, with an option to extend for an additional 12months, for
a total cost not to exceed $45,000, in the form attached hereto as attachment "I".
I, ESTHER C. BEIRNE, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on Monday, the 19`h day of May, 2008 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Brockbank, Connolly, Heller, Miller & Mayor Boro
