CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOUTION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
JOHN HANSEN
WHEREAS, John Hansen has been a great resource for San Rafael's CERT program
and a core instructor for the past three years, contributing extra time and
thought to its curriculum and exercises in order to create a more
interesting and innovative plan for students; and
WHEREAS, Jolm takes a special interest in creating strong visual props and providing
student materials at his own expense in order to present a greater quality
instruction; and
WHEREAS, he is taking the message of disaster preparedness beyond CERT and is
involved with other key groups such as the Marin County Disaster
Council, Marin Medical Reserve Corps, Get Ready Marin and is currently
becoming certified as a First Aid/CPR instructor in order to offer
advanced trainings to CERT members; and
WHEREAS, John is dependable, knowledgeable and reliable in every aspect of his job.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend John Hansen for his tireless and selfless efforts on behalf
of the City of San Rafael.
