RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF A MARIN COMMUNITY
FOUNDATION GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000 FOR THE SUPPORT OF
FALKIRK CULTURAL CENTER'S ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM
WI IEREAS, the Marin Community Foundation has supported the Falkirk Arts Program
for over twenty years, and;
WHEREAS, Falkirk's Learning to Look Arts Education Program is now in its eight year
and serves five elementary schools countywide, and;
WHEREAS, the Marin Community Foundation continues to support the expansion of
Learning to Look.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
To authorize the acceptance and use of the Marin Community Foundation grant # 2008-
02604 in the amount of $25,000 for support of Falkirk Cultural Center's Arts Education
Program Learning to Look.
I, ESTHER C. BEIRNE, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting
of the City Council of said City held on Monday, the fourth day of Auizust, 2008 by the
following vote to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Brockbank, Connolly, Heller, Miller & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
