RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND FUNDING AGREEMENT
#2007-012 BETWEEN THE TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY OF MARIN AND
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL BY ADDING $503,904 IN LOCAL MEASURE A
FUNDING
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of December, 2006, the San Rafael City
Council adopted Resolution #12174, which approved funding agreement #2007-
012 between the City of San Rafael and the Transportation Authority of Marin
(TAM); and
WHEREAS, the funding agreement established terms for the use of
annual funding allocations for the maintenance of local roads and infrastructure
generated by Measure A, a one-half cent transaction and use tax approved in
the General Election held on November 2, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Resolution #12174 also authorized the Director of Public
Works to execute the funding agreement; and
WHEREAS, Resolution #12174 stipulated that the City Council must
approve "additional authorizations between TAM and the City"; and
WHEREAS, TAM has requested an amendment of the existing funding
agreement to add an additional $503,904 for the maintenance of San Rafael
roads and infrastructure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael approves the described amendment to the funding agreement
between TAM and the City and authorizes the City Manager to execute said
amendment.

certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on the 15th
day of September, 2008, by the following vote, to wit:
