PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF i1PPREC111TION
TO
Judy Coy, Author, Early San Rafael
WHEREAS, Judy Coy has volunteered her time and efforts to conduct research of
photographs, documents, journals, and reference books on the history of
San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Judy Coy, Chairperson of the San Anselmo Historical Commission,
collaborated with the Marin History Museum to co-author the book, Early
San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Judy Coy provided technical expertise for formatting the many historic
photos in Early San Rafael, which demonstrate the diverse and distinct
history of our town; and
WHEREAS, Judy Coy has prepared an educational slide show on the history of San
Rafael for students and community members; and
WHEREAS, Judy Coy's dedication and work on Early San Rafael has resulted in an
engaging and informative book that connects us to our local history.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend Judy Coy for her time and selfless efforts on behalf
of the City of San Rafael.
