RESOLUTION NO. 12400
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOWITION OF 11PPRECUITION
TO
REVEREND WILL NELKEN
WHEREAS, Reverend Will
since 1997 and has donated
Rafael Police Department; and
Nelken has served as a Police Chaplain
thousands of hours of service to the San
WHEREAS, Reverend Nelken has freely given those hours of his time
to assist the Police Department in its mission; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Nelken has provided invaluable assistance to
the Police Department and the City of San Rafael through his dedicated
service in helping department personnel and members of the public deal
with traumatic incidents, by providing counseling, support and spiritual
guidance during times of grief and difficulty in their lives; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Nelken is always alert to the spiritual and
emotional needs of department members and provides guidance and
insight to department members and their families, as well as members of
the public, when they are in need of assistance; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Nelken has always performed his duties with
enthusiasm and devotion to the department and to the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of San Rafael hereby extend their appreciation and thanks to Reverend
Will Nelken for his ten years of outstanding and dedicated service to the
City of San Rafael as a Police Chaplain.
