RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO REVISE THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S FEES
FOR MASSAGE AND CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMITS AND FOR ALARM
PERMITS, AND TO REVISE THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT'S FEES FOR
PERMITS AND LICENSE AGREEMENTS APPROVING ENCROACHMENTS IN THE
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Master Fee Schedule on June 4, 2007, by
Resolution No. 12269; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department wishes to revise the fees for processing applications
for massage and concealed weapons permits, and for recouping the costs of alarm permits; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department wishes to revise the fees for processing minor
encroachment permits, revocable license agreements for major continuing encroachments, and
utility/special district encroachment permits, relating to encroachments in the public right-of-way;
consistent with Ordinance No. 1862 which becomes effective on December 19, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby amends the existing Master Fee Schedule, Resolution No. 12269, Table 1, to revise
the fees (1) for processing applications for massage and concealed weapons permit, and for
recouping the costs of alarm permits, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, effective
immediately, and (2) for processing minor encroachment permits, revocable license agreements for
major continuing, and utility/special district encroachment permits, relating to encroachments in
the public right-of-way, as shown on Exhibit `B" attached hereto, effective on December 19, 2007,
the effective date of Ordinance No. 1862.

Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the San Rafael
City Council held on the 17th day of December, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
