acknowledge residents of San Rafaelwho, through their dedicated and sepss efforts, have hada
significant effect on the quality of fife in their community; and

OtBrien Citizen of the Tear awarddue to his community involvement, and
`W7iE AS, Lionel and his family have been residents of San Rafaerfor forty years, and
'W1iET9AS, Lionel has devoted much of his fife to the research, documentation and sharing of San Rafael's
history as an author, teacherandstoryteller, and
`WJ[EUAS, Lionerhas been a true fiiendand benefactor of the San RafaelLi6rary, helping the Book
Tund Committee to offset budget reductions and headlining fundraisers, including amazing impresonations
ofAiulrew Carnegie, and
WWtjEPgAS, Lionel served as an active member of the Critical EFacilities Committee to prioritize safety
facility improvements, but then supporting revenue enhancements that would 6ecome the Weasure S
campaign, and

curiosity anddedication to his community,
