RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL APPROVING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT
(CSCC-4109, AMENDMENT 01) FOR $2,245.00 FOR A TOTAL
CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $4,490.00 WITH THE
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE SCHOOL-AGE
CHILD CARE RESOURCE PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING
THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
CONTRACT AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has entered into a contract with the California
Department of Education (CSCC-4109), dated May 16, 2005, under the School -Age Child Care
Resource Program, to provide funding to the City Child Care Division's child care program in
the amount of $2,245.00; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Education has proposed a contract
amendment to provide an additional $2,245.00 for a total contract amount of $4,490.00; and
WHEREAS, the City's Child Care Division desires to enter into the contract amendment
to obtain the additional funding, in order to purchase additional classroom materials and to
provide additional staff training.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael approves an amendment to the contract with the California Department of Education
(CCSS-4109), dated May 16, 2005, to increase the amount of the contract by $2,245.00 to a total
contract amount of $4,490.00, and authorizes the Interim City Manager to execute the contract
amendment, a copy of which is hereby attached hereto as Exhibit A.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday, the 17th day of April by the following vote, to wit:
