HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 12053 (Parking Services Budget Modification)RESOLUTION NO. 12053 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REQUESTING MIDYEAR PARKING SERVICES DIVISION BUDGET MODIFICATION, TO INCREASE BUDGET BY $114,000 WHEREAS, the City's Parking Services Division is seeking to improve customer service at the City owned parking garages and parking lots, and WHEREAS, providing additional positions and resources would improve the quality of parking services, and WHEREAS, the overall budget adjustment would cost an additional $114,000 per year, paid for by the revenues and costs savings incurred through this staffing adjustment, and WHEREAS, the Parking Services Division is a self funded Enterprise Fund, separate from the City General Fund, and WHEREAS, there will be no additional costs to the City's General Fund for these staffing changes, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council hereby approves an increase in the 2006/07 Parking Services Division budget of $114,000. 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the Parking Services Division personnel allocation from 16.96 FTEs to 18.65 FTEs. I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Monday, the 18th day of September, 2006 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None JEANNVf ONCINI,City Clerk
