RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
GARAGE SWEEPING SERVICES WITH SANTA ROSA POWER
SWEEPING SERVICES BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2006
(TWO-YEAR AGREEMENT NOT TO EXCEED $44,000)
Whereas, the City of San Rafael is committed to providing clean parking facilities and
that we have completed a bid process identifying a low bidder; and
Whereas, the Parking Services Division solicited three bids from local sweeping
service contractors; and
Whereas, the bid from Santa Rosa Power Sweeping company provided the lowest
and best bid for said work, and said bidder is the lowest responsible bidder; therefore;
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND RESOLVED that the bid of Santa Rosa Power
Sweeping company is accepted for the two year agreement period beginning October
1, 2006.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on Monday, the 18th day of September,
2006 by the following vote, to wit:

2.1. Current schedule of operations is Friday Mornings between the hours of no earlier than
4am and continuing until no later than 10am.
2.1.1. This time schedule maybe amended by agreement of both parties.
2.2. Contractor must comply with City of San Rafael Noise Ordinances 8.13.010 — 8.13.070
2.3. Contract shall provide sweeping and cleaning of walkways, stairwell landings, curbs,
interior sidewalks, ramps, divider walls, behind wheel stops, all corners, planters, and
removal of any debris lodged in visible areas.
