WHEREAS, nothing says loving like something from the oven, and everyone
loves homemade cookies; and
WHEREAS, as part of San Rafael's 2006 Great Race Finish Line Celebration,
you made the effort to provide homemade goodies to welcome the Great Race
drivers and navigators to Downtown San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the bakers supplied more than 1,000 cookies and bars to be
included in the welcome bags for Great Race participants;
NOW THEREFORE, we acknowledge your participation with appreciation
and congratulate you for your role in San Rafael's selection as the most
hospitable overnight stop of the Great Race national tour, and thank you for your
part in bringing the $10,000 Great Race award to the San Rafael Public Library.
