A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROVING THE PROJECT SCOPE FOR THE FOURTH STREET/WEST
END VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the original scope of work for the Fourth Street/West End Village Improvement
Project (Project) was presented to the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Transportation
Authority of Marin (TAM) on June 14, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the project is the Number 1 priority of the Marin Public Works Association
(MPWA) and the Technical Advisory Committee for the Central Planning Region for funding
utilizing Measure A Regional Roads Strategy 3.1 funds; and
WHEREAS, an extensive public outreach process with property owners, business owners,
residents, and the general public has resulted in changes to the initial project scope.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
approves the revised project scope for the Fourth Street/West End Village Improvement Project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of San Rafael held on November 20, 2006, by the following vote, to wit:
