CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
PATTI BRENNAN
WHEREAS, Patti Brennan has been a valued member of the San Rafael Economic
Development Department since 1998; and
WHEREAS, Patti plays a critical role in providing irreplaceable administrative support
for economic development, redevelopment and affordable housing
programs; and
WHEREAS, Patti manages the Friends of San Rafael, the Downtown Banner Program,
and the entire inner workings of the "Blue House"; and
WHEREAS, Patti is innovative, seeks challenges in her work, and will sweetly and
diplomatically fight for what's right until she wins; and
WHEREAS, Patti has made invaluable contributions to the Employee Budget
Workgroup and the Event Coordinating Committee; and
WHEREAS, Patti is known in the Blue House as a human calculator as well as the
creator of "Patti Facts"; and
WHEREAS, Patti has intimate and sole knowledge of heating systems for Victorian
buildings, wind velocity capacity for banners, and the City's accounts
receivable system; and
WHEREAS, Patti is gracious, thoughtful and a downright really nice person; and
WHEREAS, Patti is respected and appreciated for her professionalism, her love and
commitment to San Rafael, and for her humor, energy and brilliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby designate Patti Brennan as the Employee of the Quarter for the Fourth
Quarter of 2004 and express sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism and
outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
