Suporn has formed a classroom built on patience and friendliness, resulting
in team teaching with her assistant teacher for 15 years; and
Suporn stepped in as Acting Director for over a year, all the while still
handling her usual load of classroom responsibilities. Suporn is a master at
scheduling staff and substitutes for the pre-school in a most efficient and
cost effective manner. "It's like playing chess," she says; and
Suporn has a plethora of ways to show appreciation for others, our favorite
being delicious Thai lunches for her fellow staff. Suporn has a delightful
outlook on life, which makes it a pleasure to work with her. We all benefit
from having her in our daily lives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby designate Suporn Lin as the Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter
of 2005, and express sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism and
outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
