RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ESTABLISH A NEW
SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR OFF-STREET PARKING AREAS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael desires to periodically review
and establish parking rates, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council last reviewed and approved a Schedule of Parking Fees as
Exhibit "J" to the Master Fee Resolution (Resolution No. 11670), adopted on November 15,
2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of a Schedule of Parking Fees is
statutorily exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act, under Public Resources Code
Section 21080(b)(8), since such fees are collected to meet operating expenses, costs for supplies,
equipment, and materials, reserve requirements, and capital expenses in the City's parking
programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby amends the
existing Master Fee Resolution, Resolution No. 11670, Exhibit "J", to revise the Schedule of
Parking Fees related to parking rates for off-street parking areas as set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein, leaving the Schedule of Parking Fees related to Meters
and Reserved Parking as set forth in Exhibit "J" unchanged.

foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday. the 16th day of May. 2005 by the following vote, to
