PRESENTS THIS
RESOMITION OF IIPPRECIRTI03N
TO
BEN CHUCK
WHEREAS, Ben Chuck has worked in the San Rafael Police Department's
Information Services since 2002 after retiring from Cal Trans as an
engineer and planner: and,
WHEREAS, Ben has devoted as many as sixteen to twenty hours per week creating
custom online reports and online software applications for the Police
Department, including Briefing Notes for beat projects, neighborhood
meetings and case information; and,
WHEREAS, Ben helped develop eBriefmg, an online software application for Police
Officers to review incident and case information without the need for
printed copies; and,
WHEREAS, Ben has also served as Coordinator for the Marin Chinese Cultural
Association's Lion Dance team helping with 30-40 performances a year
in the Bay Area; and,
WHEREAS, Ben Chuck is an exceptional example of a civic -minded, public -oriented
individual, consistently tackling each project with energy, determination
and little outside assistance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby commend Ben Chuck for his tireless and selfless efforts on behalf of the
City of San Rafael.
