JIM HAYES
Jim has been a valued member of the. San Rafael Information Technology
Division since October 2001; and
Jim has become an integral part of the IT Team providing excellent technology
support to the employees of the City of San Rafael; and
Jim's ability to explain complicated, technical jargon in simple plain English to
non-technical people has tremendously increased their comfort level and
working relationship with their computers; and
Jim continuously responds quickly to calls for assistance and is tenacious in
resolving even the most difficult problems; and
Jim demonstrates his high level of commitment to the work of City employees
by getting problems resolved in the most effective and convenient manner —
even if it requires additional time on his part; and
Jim approaches his sometimes -stressful work with patience, good humor, and
with such a positive outlook he can often be heard singing the lyrics of the song
"Baby Love."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby designate Jim Hayes as the Employee of the Quarter for the Second Quarter of
2005 and express sincere appreciation for his dedication, professionalism and outstanding service
to the City of San Rafael.
