RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WITH THE
COUNTY OF MARIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR CHILD CARE
SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been awarded a contract for child care
services at Pickleweed Children's Center from the Community Development Block
Grant Program in the amount of $15,000 for Fiscal Year 2005-2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves and authorizes the Mayor to sign
designated contract documents with the County of Marin Community Development
Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael enter into this agreement with the Marin County Community Development
Agency to provide child care services in the amount of $15,000 for Fiscal Year 2005-
2006.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Mondav, the 19'h day of September 2005.

TO
APPENDIX B
GOALS, TASKS, AND OBJECTIVES
City of San Rafael - Child Care Division will use CDBG funds for Staff salaries for child care center
serving low income families. CDBG funds will be expended by June 30, 2006
The Operating Agency agrees to attend training on the requirements of Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation act of 1973 and the American with Disabilities act. At least 51 % of clients served with
CDBG funds will meet low income requirements established by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development. The Operating Agency agrees to implement this project to qualify under the
Community Development Block Grant national objective of low and moderate income benefit.

Staff salaries for child care center serving low income families $15,000.00
This amendment increases the amount of the budget in the agreement from $ 28,500 to $43,500.
