MESENTS THIS
RESOMITION OF APPRECIATION
TO
ESTHER BEIRNE
Esther Beirne has been employed as Deputy City Clerk in the City Clerk's
Department since September 18, 2000; and
Esther is one of the most courteous and friendly employees in City Hall, who never
says, "It's not my job". She is always patient and willing to help solve problems and
assist in finding information; and
Esther works in a very stressful office which demands a lot of public interaction,
professionalism and extra attention to detail. She does it all with a smile; and
Esther volunteered to serve on the Budget Committee and the Website Committee to
assist in making meaningful suggestions and recommendations for the good of the
City; and
In keeping with her commitment to her position, Esther became a Notary Public to
assist both City staff and the public. Further, Esther is pursuing Municipal Clerk
certification/training that is above and beyond her duties, working extra hours as
needed without complaint; and
While it is widely known that Esther's Mini Cooper is the sun around which her
universe revolves, she still carries out her many duties in a professional and
courteous way, even as visions of the Mini dance happily in her mind.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby designate Esther Beirne as the Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of 2005
and express sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism and outstanding service to the City
of San Rafael.
