RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WITH THE
COUNTY OF MARIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR CHILD CARE
STAFF SALARIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003-04 IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been awarded a contract for child care
staff salaries at Pickleweed Children's Center from the Community Development Block
Grant Program in the amount of $10,000 for Fiscal Year 2003-04; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves and authorizes the Mayor to sign
designated contract documents with the County of Marin Community Development
Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael enter into this agreement with the Marin County Community Development
Agency in the amount of $10,000 for fiscal year 2003-04.

foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Mondav, 2nd day of February 2004,

APPENDIX B
GOALS, TASKS, AND OBJECTIVES
City of San Rafael - Community Services will use CDBG funds for Staff salaries for a child
care center serving low income families. CDBG funds will be expended by December 31,
2004.
The Operating Agency agrees to attend training on the requirements of Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. At least 51 % of clients
served with CDBG funds will meet low-income requirements established by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
