CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESUIaUT10N OF UPRECIRTION
TO
DIANE GLAS
WHEREAS, DART, the Disaster Area Response Teams program owes much
of its success to the outstanding volunteer contributions of Diane
Glas for her countless hours spent managing the logistics of the
program while acting as its volunteer coordinator; and
WHEREAS, Diane helps with all functions of the DART program including
fundraising, preparing classes and student manuals, managing the
database and web site information, and coordinating the DART
booth at the County Fair; and
WHEREAS, Diane's time and efforts have included many evenings and work at
home with unflagging devotion to the DART program and its
goals; and
WHEREAS, the entire community has benefited from her civic -mindedness and
is now better prepared to respond during a disaster;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby commend Diane Glas for her tireless and
selfless efforts on behalf of the City of San Rafael.
