RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
NAMING LOS RANCHITOS PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
WHEREAS a three -acre park facility within the Redwood Village housing development will be
dedicated to the City of San Rafael in the summer of 2004 by Signature Properties; and
WHEREAS the City desires to recognize the historical significance and the unique identity of the
of the park site; and
WHEREAS the Park and Recreation Commission on May 20, 2004 recommended the park be
named "Los Ranchitos Park",
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
Approves the naming of Los Ranchitos Park.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a re lar meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday the 7"' day of June, 2004 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Heller
