RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
TO APPROVE EXPANDING CHILD CARE SERVICES TO SUN VALLEY
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND APPROVE AMENDING THE 2004-2005 CHILD CARE
DIVISON BUDGET $150,000 IN EXPENDITURES AND $168,000 IN REVENUE
WHEREAS, San Rafael City Schools has requested that the City of San Rafael expand
child care services to Sun Valley Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, San Rafael City Schools will provide a classroom for said program; and
WHEREAS, the 2004-2005 budget will need to be amended in the amount of $150,000 in
expenditures and $168,000 in revenue; and
WHEREAS, the City will fund this program expansion through parent fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
does approve expanding child care services to Sun Valley Elementary School and does approve
amending the budget in the amount of $150,000 in expenditures and $168,000 in revenue.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCM, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing
resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of
said City on Tuesday, the sixth day of July, 2004, by the following vote, to wit:
