RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
RESOLUTION APPROVING PICKLEWEED PARK COMMUNITY
CENTER FINAL DESIGN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
WHEREAS the Pickleweed Park Community Center is in need of repair and expansion in order
to continue to serve over 100,000 visitors per year; and
WHEREAS the Canal Neighborhood, through the Pickleweed Advisory Board, has determined
the highest priority uses for the Community Center; and
WHEREAS the City has designed renovation of the existing Community Center and expansion
of the facilities to respond to the expressed needs of the community; and
WHEREAS public, foundation and private donations have produced the funds necessary to
support the project; and
WHEREAS the Pickleweed Park Community Center Renovation and Expansion Project has
gained the approval of the regulatory and review processes mandated;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
Approves the Pickleweed Park Community Center Final Design.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a re lar meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday, July 19, 2004 by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
