W herea4, during this time she has shown a tireless dedication and enthusiasm about her work; and
Whereas, Doris has been the Project Manager on two high profile construction projects over the last
two years, being the N. San Pedro Road/Civic Center Drive Improvements and the
Lincoln Avenue Rehabilitation; and
WJWXea,, both projects were complex, and involved maintaining heavy pedestrian and vehicular
traffic on busy arterial streets during the construction work; and
Wherea&, the success of both projects was dependent on a dedicated and resourceful Project
Manager, and an aggressive Public Outreach and Community Involvement Program; and
Whereat, Doris readily accepted the responsibility and rose to the challenges and showed her
dedication, willingness to become involved, "help anyone" attitude, work long hours, and
take that "extra" step to ensure the ultimate success of both projects; and
Whereclk, Doris displays the same positive attitude and helpfulness during her normal work
assignments and always has a friendly smile on her face.
Now there f&re- be, %t re4oWe& that the Mayor and the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby designate Dartk Toy as Employee of the Quarter for the Fourth Quarter of 2002, and express
sincere appreciation for her dedication, professionalism and outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
