RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH DAN HODAPP
RE. SAN RAFAEL GENERAL PLAN 2020 (P98-10)
(COMMENCING ON FEBRUARY 20, 2002 AND ENDING ON MAY 30, 2003)
WHEREAS, On February 20, 2002, the City of San Rafael (CITY) entered into an Agreement
with Dan Hodapp (CONTRACTOR) for the provision of planning consulting
services in connection with drafting General Plan 2020 policies; and,
WHEREAS, said Amendment provided for an expiration date of November 20, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the CITY has determined that CONTRACTOR'S services continue to be
required and the CITY and CONTRACTOR now desire to extend the term of
the Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the CONTRACTOR has the expertise and experience in the design field to
perform the required professional services and is willing and able to continue to
provide said services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael
that it hereby:
1) approves the Amendment to the Agreement with Dan Hodapp, a sole
proprietor, for consulting services in connection with General Plan 2020,
a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and
2) authorizes the City Manager to execute this Amendment.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 21st of April, 2003, by the following vote, to wit:

AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AND DAN HODAPP FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
This Amendment to Agreement is made and entered into this 21" of April, 2003 by
and between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL (hereinafter "CITY"), and Dan Hodapp
(hereinafter "CONTRACTOR").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, On February 20, 2002, the City of San Rafael (City) entered into an
Agreement with Dan Hodapp (Contractor) for the provision of planning
consulting services in connection with drafting General Plan 2020
policies; and,
WHEREAS, said Amendment provided for an expiration date of November 20, 2002;
and,
WHEREAS, the CITY has determined that CONTRACTOR'S services continue to be
required and the CITY and CONTRACTOR now desire to extend the
term of the Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the CONTRACTOR has the expertise and experience in the plauming and
housing fields to perform the required professional services and is willing
and able to continue to provide said services.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereby agree as follows:
1. Paragraph 5 of the Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"The term of this Agreement shall commence on February 20, 2002 and end on
May 30, 2003."
3. All other covenants, terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain in Rill
force and effect for the term of the Amended Agreement.
