NINA MURPHY
WHEREAS, Nina Murphy is a co-founder of die Lincoln San Rafael Hill
Neighborhood Association and has served since 1999 in many
capacities, currently as Vice President and communications
coordinator; and
WHEREAS, Nina co-founded die Sound -wall Noise Abatement Committee
(SNAC) and has worked diligently since 1997 to resolve highway noise
issues on behalf of her neighborhood; and
`'WHEREAS, Nina has often taken a leadership role, volunteering numerous hours
toward neighborhood beautification and improvement projects such
as die annual Cleanup Days, sidewalk and street upgrades and crime
prevention efforts; and
W][1EREAS, Nina is a shining example of' community involvement and pride
demonstrating her passion for helping people and bettering die
community through her work with her neighborhood, die City, die
County and youth development activities in San Rafael;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby commends Nina Murphy for her tireless and selfless efforts on
behalf of her community and the City of San Rafael.
